Who Makes You Say "Yo, Eat This!"?

As a real estate professional and food enthusiast, I (Mike Severns) am excited to announce that my best friend (Marc Fumo - @FoodWithFoom), and I are in the planning stages for the creation of a podcast for my @hungryrealtor brand/youtube channel. Before I was in real estate we spent decades in the food business, including working and owning multiple delis in South Philly. This is a way for us to give back and combine two things we enjoy. The podcast will feature local restaurant owners who have been recommended to us by their customers. SO WHO MAKES YOU SAY - YO, EAT THIS!

In each episode, we will visit the restaurants you submit and invite YOU to join us for a meal. We will talk about the neighborhood the restaurant is located in, as well as real estate-related topics, such as how the restaurant has impacted the local property market. We will also discuss the menu, why you have recommended this specific establishment, and any story behind the restaurant and how it has impacted you, if there is one.

I believe this podcast will be a great way to showcase the local food scene and highlight the contributions of restaurant owners to their communities. We are looking forward to connecting with you and learning more about the businesses you love.

Currently, opportunities are limited to 15 (the number of episodes in our first season) Once all spots have been awarded we will contact the appropriate owners and you to schedule preliminary interviews, shooting days, and discuss episode premieres. The owners will have to give us permission to film (we will contact - you don't have to).

If you would like to say "Yo, Eat This!" just fill out the form below

Here are my rules:

No chains or franchises - I’m looking for someone like me when I owned my Deli - An Owner who shows up.

Prefer made-from-scratch food (anyone can throw some frozen things bought from Sysco in a deep fryer)

Should not be more than 45 mins North/East/West of Philadelphia and an hour and a half South. (For Now)

If the place is struggling but the food and service are good that’s a plus too - the past 2 years have been tough on eateries especially small businesses so if we can help get them exposure we absolutely will.

PS. This isn’t a way to get free food! We will be paying for everything that we order!
